The Energy Company Obligation 4 requires large energy suppliers to fund energy efficiency improvements for eligible households. Measures include cavity wall insulation, loft insulation, solid wall insulation, heating upgrades, and in some cases solar panels. Targeted at low-income and vulnerable homes with poor EPC ratings.
Provides £7,500 towards most eligible air-to-water or ground source heat pumps, with £9,000 available for qualifying off-gas-grid homes replacing oil or LPG until 31 March 2027.
